Stuart Diamond welcomes ‘tremendous opportunity’ to serve the dozens of small Jewish outposts across the country.
Former Mitzvah Day chief executive Stuart Diamond has joined the Jewish Small Communities Network (JSCN) as its head of engagement.
He will spearhead Create, its four-year Lottery-funded initiative to empower local Jewish communities, covering such subjects as delivery of talks in schools, shared Shabbat experiences, heritage projects and more.
Diamond, who oversaw three Mitzvah Days before stepping down in February, said, “Joining JSCN is a tremendous opportunity to make a tangible difference. I look forward to collaborating with communities nationwide to bring Create’s vision to life.”
